We plan a trip in the summer to celebrate many family events. We will be 13 people. 2 grandparents, three grown children with spouses and 5 children ages 3, 4 ,5, 5, and 15. We have one Florida resident (grandfather). Where do I start ?

Hi, Eldon!  This is sounding like an amazing family vacation, and I'm sure you want everything to be absolutely magical!  If your family is going to be staying at the Walt Disney World resort, your family may qualify as a Grand Gathering, and there are all sorts of wonderful options available to you!

I would contact the travel planners at Walt Disney World who handle the Grand Gathering parties, as a way to start your planning.  This group of cast members deal only with large groups such as yours, and they will help walk you through your options and the magical experiences that are available to you as part of a Grand Gathering.  Call 407-WDW-MAGIC to get started.  The travel planners can help you with everything from hotels and park passes to dining and exclusive Grand Gathering experiences.

As a Grand Gathering, your family can choose to participate in things like special dining experiences, a VIP viewing of Illuminations at EPCOT, and behind the scenes tours.  To check out some of what you might take part in, visit HERE to get a look at some of the fun that awaits!

That should get you started in the right direction planning this amazing vacation!  I hope your family enjoys every minute of your magical adventure!
