If I want to plan a trip in February, do I have to pay for it all now?

Welcome to planDisney, Keith! I am so glad you came here to ask us a question about booking a magical Walt Disney World vacation! February is one of the best times of the year to visit; the weather is usually perfect, and it doesn’t rain very much.

You can book a vacation package with hotel, theme park tickets, and Memory Maker at this time on the official Walt Disney World website. You can reserve your reservation with just a $200 deposit. Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival, which will be sometime in January. You can make changes or payments at any time on the MyDisneyExperience website

Once you book your vacation package, you will want to be sure to link your reservation in your MyDisneyExperience. Once that is done, you can make your theme park reservations for your February trip. I know it is a lot to think about right away, but these can usually be changed, so I recommend booking them ASAP.

At 60 days before your trip, in December, you will be able to begin booking dining reservations if you plan to try some of the awesome Disney restaurants. My family usually books one sit-down meal for each day, just so we know that we will have a break with some delicious food. A couple of our favorite places to dine are Whispering Canyon Café in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (their breakfast skillets are SO good and a LOT of food!), and Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk.

I hope this helps with your planning! Please come back and visit us again with more Walt Disney World vacation questions!

    Happy Traveling,
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
