    How much should i plan in a theme park for a 3year old.

    Amy,

    Having recently taken my daughter through the parks when she was 3, I can say with personal experience that you should err on the side of not planning too much. Let's look at some of the planning areas;

    Attractions. So what you should do is have an idea of what rides you will want them to enjoy, and know they will tire out quickly. So plan breaks in your day. I typically hit the parks until around 11:30, then head to lunch and pool time/quiet time back at the resort.

    Dining. 3 year olds just don't eat all that much, so I don't plan for more than one table service meal per day. Typically we do that at dinner, for a variety of reasons.

    Special experiences. Many of us want to book special added experiences every day. Boutique stops, reserved fireworks settings, cruises, you name it. The truth is, to a three year old, Walt Disney World IS a special experience. Don't give in to the allure of these added events. Save them for a future visit. For now the parks and resorts alone will be well more than enough.

    Write me back if I can help further!

    Have a magical vacation!
