Hi again Christina! Walt Disney World is the ultimate vacation destination for parents of young kids. When my kids were really young, I loved that we could stay in fancy hotels that were also kid-friendly. The resorts on the monorail route are ideal for parents with toddlers and babies because you push your stroller right onto the monorail at your resort and roll right off at the Magic Kingdom, which is the most popular park with the little ones. Because the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary and the Polynesian are so close to the Magic Kingdom, it's easy to zip back to the room on the monorail if the kids need a nap or change of clothes. I also loved that we didn't have to disturb a sleeping baby in the stroller when we took the monorail back to our room, which wasn't possible on the buses where the strollers have to be collapsed. In addition to the convenience of being close to the parks and to lots of restaurants, the resorts on the monorail route are some of the most luxurious ones at Disney too.
Several Disney resorts offer
Children's Activity Centers so parents can enjoy a night out, but to attend, kids must be at least 3 years old and potty-trained. Since your youngest child will be only 1 at the time of your Disney vacation, consider hiring an in-room sitter. Disney provides this
babysitting service at the resort hotels through Kid's Night Out. (You can find additional information at kidsniteout.com).
