We plan a stay at a WDW hotel in July 2025 followed by a Disney Cruise. How can we travel from the hotel to the cruise terminal?

    Ahoy there, Karin!

I'm so glad you visited planDisney with your question about your upcoming Land & Sea Disney holiday! A stay at the Walt Disney World Resort followed by a Disney Cruise Line voyage is my favorite way to enjoy Disney, so I think you've made a perfect choice.

Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book their Ground Transporation (for an additional cost) to Port Canaveral through Disney Cruise Line. Just give them a call and a Cast Member will assist you with your plans. It is smart to use Disney Cruise Line ground transfers for your cruise! I love how convenient it is and it provides a seamless transition from park to port!

Another way to help create a seamless vacation is to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Guests visiting from countries outside the United States may need to wait until they've arrived before downloading the app, but once you arrive, I encourage you to download it. With the app, you will have all your plans, including Online Check-In information and Port Arrival Form, at your fingertips. Once you board the ship, you can review the daily schedule of fun activities, entertainment, and your Rotational Dining schedule. Be sure to select the heart icon next to activities you don't want to miss so the app will remind you when it's about to start.

If you have other questions, Karin, please sail by again; we are happy to help.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
