Hi! Plan to spend 1st day at MK and have ADR at Cal. Grill for 7:15pm (timing for fireworks). Any ideas on how to spend as much time as possible at Mk and still honor the dress code? Thinking it may take too long to go back to CSR to change. Thanks

Hi Pamela! It sounds like you have a perfectly magical first day planned. I totally agree that the best plan would be to go straight to the Contemporary Resort for your dinner at the California Grill. Rather than wearing less than comfortable clothes to the Magic Kingdom, you can always bring a change of clothes with you to the park and store it in a locker.  Lockers are located just inside the park entrance, and cost approximately $7 for a large one and $5 for a smaller one. You can easily grab your things on your way out of the park. Then you can just hop on the monorail to the Contemporary, or enjoy the ten minute walk.

Wishing you a magical vacation Pamela!
