    We plan to have my son's bday dinner at chef mickeys then ride the monorail to the poly to watch fireworks on the beach. How long (or how many stops) between the contemporary and the poly?

    Hi Jaynee -

    The Polynesian is two stops away from the Contemporary on the resort monorail line. The order is Contemporary - Transportation and Ticket Center - Polynesian - Grand Floridian - Magic Kingdom - back to the Contemporary.

    You will get from the Contemporary to the Polynesian in about five minutes once you're on board the monorail.

    Have a great time at Chef Mickey's and Happy Birthday to your son.
