I plan to sail on the Disney Dream to the Bahamas in early September. I am aware that my husband and I will need passports but we are sailing with our children, 2 and 18 months. I cannot find any info on what I need for them.

    Ahoy Crystal!

The Disney Dream is a majestic ship, and your family is going to have an experience of a lifetime on your cruise!  From the moment you hear the words, "Welcome Aboard," you will feel how the magic of Disney comes to life on the high seas!

You have a great question!  Disney Cruise Line does recommend passports for all their Guests.  Although, they are not required because it is a closed-loop cruise (beginning and ending in a U.S. port), passports are suggested in the case of an unforeseen circumstance.  If something happens while you are in the Bahamas, you will need passports for your entire family to fly back to the United States.  Please look over the Passport Information on DisneyCruise.com to help you with the process.

Thanks so much for visiting the Mom Panel with your question.  I hope you will let me know if you have further questions about your upcoming voyage!

    Have a spectacular day!
