I plan on renting a double stroller while in Epcot. I was wondering if they allow us to put the stoller on a friendship boat in World Showcase?

The Walt Disney World rental strollers cannot leave the park in which they were rented. This means that any stroller you rent at Epcot will have to stay at Epcot. You would not be allowed to leave the park with it to get to the Friendship boats.

When renting a stroller at one park, you can retain your receipt and (pending availability) get a stroller that same day at a different theme park at no additional charge. This means that if you rent a stroller at Epcot and also need one at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can leave the Epcot rental just inside the World Showcase International Gateway, walk to the Friendship boats, and then obtain a second stroller when you get to DHS.

You are allowed to bring personal strollers (singles and doubles) onto the Friendship boats. You can wheel them right on with the boat, even with a child in them. This is just one of the many reasons why I strongly recommend that guests bring their own strollers rather than rent them from Disney. You can read more about this HERE.
