We plan to purchase a 4 day hopper pass but wanted to take a break in the middle. For example days 1 and 2 at DW, day 3 a break, day 4 and 5 at DW. Do the hopper passes have to be used consecutively?

That's a great question, Sherry!  You will be pleased to know that you do not have to use your Magic Your Way Park Hopper Ticket on consecutive days. In fact, your plan of visiting parks for two days, a break on day three, and then two more days of park touring is exactly what I would have recommended that you do on your Disney Vacation! My family always schedules a Resort Day(non-park day) on the third day of our trip to sleep in and enjoy our Disney Resort.  We have found from past experience that after two busy days of park touring that we need a little down time to recharge our batteries. I hope this helps!  Please write back if I can answer any other questions for you. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Sherry!
    Happy Planning,
