I plan on going to the park the day we check in which would mean not technically being in our room yet. I've already made dining reservations on dining plan and made one for the first day. Will it work? Or do I have to stay the night first?

    Hi Tammy,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I can certainly understand wanting to hit the parks on your day of arrival. Although your room may not be ready when you arrive, you are more than welcome to go ahead and check in to your Disney Resort hotel prior to going to the park.

The 2017 Disney Dining Plan is based on the length of your package stay; however, you can start using your dining entitlements on the day of check-in. You do not have to wait until the 2nd day of your vacation.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Tammy!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
