Hello! We plan on making a trip to WDW Jan 2 - 7, 2013. We have come at this time of year many times before, but this time we were thinking about splurging and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Do you know if their Christmas decorations will still be up?

    Christy,

Typically Holiday decorations start coming down right away on January 2nd. but as you can imagine, the decorations are more than a few garlands strung here and there. So while you will definitely see the decorations coming down while you are visiting, you are likely during the early part of your stay to see some, if not most, of the decorations up. I can't say that I know exactly what day they take the tree down, but it is very big, so I imagine you will see it at least on your arrival day, if not later.

So plan on a holiday scene upon arrival, but for things to return to normal by visit's end!

    Have a magical vacation!
