We plan to take a 2-3 hour afternoon break from MK. We are staying at the Yacht Club and are trying to decide if we should go back to our resort or visit others along the Monorail. In your experience, how long is the bus trip between MK and Yacht Club?

Hi, Gina! The actual bus ride itself is only about 15 minutes, but you must also factor in wait time for the bus, stops at other Resorts, and the time it takes to get between the bus stop and and your room.  I would budget 30 to 40 minutes each way between the Yacht Club Resort and Magic Kingdom. If it takes less than that, then your schedule is still good, but you will lose about an hour travel time (round trip) to go back to the Yacht Club. You must still factor in the additional time you will spend at the Resort.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
