Hi Marley! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! October is a wonderful time of the year to visit, especially with the return of
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Adding this special ticketed event to your plans is the perfect way to add a little extra magic to your stay!
Marley, one of the benefits of attending the Halloween party is that you are allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM on this day. This will allow you to fit in some extra park time and enjoy some of the experiences outside of the party festivities. Unfortunately, Guests will not be allowed to
purchase Lightning Lanes if they are only attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. These are reserved for Guests who have a valid daytime park ticket.
If you do wish to ride some attractions before the party officially begins, you may find that wait times may not be incredibly long. The Magic Kingdom tends to have lower crowds on party dates since the park closes early, and even the Guests that are there tend to start heading out between this turnover time. Also, with limited tickets sold to this event, wait times during the Halloween party are usually lower than normal. You should have an easier time riding many of the attractions with shorter wait times.
With so many special experiences happening during the event, make sure to carve out some time to check them out.
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is a staple of this event and a can't miss in my opinion. There are usually two showtimes each night of the party (weather permitting), so I suggest putting this at the top of your priority list!
Marley, I hope you have a Spooktacular time attending this special event later this year!
