Hi Gong,
Welcome to planDisney! Are you counting down the days until your magical vacation begins? It's just a few short weeks away and will be here before you know it!
In checking the official
park hours calendar, Magic Kingdom Park, which is open every day of the year, is currently scheduled to be open from 8 AM to 9 PM on May 8th, although the exact hours are subject to change. I'm guessing that you were looking at the
availability calendar, which is where you can see if there are any more Disney Park Pass reservations available. Under the
phased reopening, Disney has placed capacity limitations at each theme park to allow for physical distancing to keep Cast Members and Guests as safe as possible. In addition to valid tickets, all Guests must also have a
Disney Park Pass reservation to be able to enter a theme park. If your
ticket is purchased and
linked to your My Disney Experience account and you have a Disney Park Pass reservation, you're all set, and yes, you'll be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park as planned! If not, you'll need to check the availability calendar frequently because there is currently no availability for Magic Kingdom Park on that day. At this point, EPCOT is the only park showing availability that day. If you want to shift your plans, I'm confident you'll love your visit to EPCOT, too, and the great news is that the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be going on during your visit. Not only are there gorgeous blooms, topiaries that will leave you wondering how they did that, and fun special entertainment, but the food? Mmm...the food is
fantastic! Check out this
Disney Parks Blog Festival Foodie Guide to see what I mean!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Gong, and please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I'm sending pixie dust that everything works out perfectly for you and you have a truly magical vacation!
