Miss Tilly at Typhoon Lagoon

    We plan to go to Disney end of October and wanted to go to typhoon lagoon. Will it be open first week of November 2023? Weather permitting we where planning on going November 1st, or 6th.

    Hi Amie, 

    Thanks for swimming back to planDisney! Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is next month, so I understand wanting to finalize those water park plans. 

    November hours for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park have not been released yet, and a Cast Member I spoke to was unable to tell me when hours would be posted. However, they reassured me that Walt Disney World staggers closing the water parks for refurbishment to keep at least one water park open for Guests to enjoy. 

    So, I have a few recommendations for you as your trip gets closer. First, keep checking the Walt Disney World website for water park hours to be posted. Second, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any updates on water park operations. If Typhoon Lagoon closes for maintenance and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopens, it will be announced on the Disney Parks Blog.
