I plan on getting breakfast at the beach club marketplace morning of epcot. Can i walk from there to Epcot? I am not staying at the resort.

Welcome to planDisney, Regina! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is so close that I bet you can feel the sand between your toes. Since breakfast is the most magical meal of the day, let's look at how you can have your Mickey Waffles and eat them, too...beach-style!

Disney's Beach Club Resort is a fabulous tribute to sun and fun in the Sunshine State. I love strolling around Crescent Lake, and the location is central to many activities. My family has a "tee time" at Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf next month, and we can stroll over for dinner at Disney's BoardWalk afterward. That's a lifestyle I could get used to!

The best news is that you walk from Disney's Beach Club Resort to EPCOT in 5-10 minutes. I'm a fast walker—just ask my pals—so I can walk the .3 or so miles easily. But if you're in a more leisurely mood, you can take in the peaceful sights and sounds while you meander.

If you overindulge at the delicious Beach Club Marketplace breakfast, you could hop aboard a friendship boat. Just head toward the lighthouse at the back of the resort, and you'll see the dock. Follow the signs for the EPCOT boats, and you'll feel the lake breeze in your hair in no time.

Both options will take you to the back entrance of EPCOT at the International Gateway near the France Pavilion. And I'm glad to let you know that Disney transportation and grounds are available to all guests, not just those staying at the resorts.

I hope you're planning to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I can't wait to try the new plant-based treats at the Outdoor Kitchens. The Avocado Toast at BRUNCHCOT looks scrumptious!

Regina, I hope I've cleared your path for this week's fantastic visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime. Remember to pack your sunglasses!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
