4/17/19 I plan to do a few rides at Epcot in am then take monorail to MK for parade, ADR at BOG for dinner, & fireworks. Want to get to MK in time to get snack at Plaza ice cream & to find good viewing spot for 3 pm FOF parade. When to leave Epcot?

    Hi Jana,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it!

What a practically perfect day you have planned for your upcoming trip. My family loves to "park hop" between Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park as well.  From Epcot, you can easily travel to Magic Kingdom Park via the Walt Disney World Monorail System.  I recommend securing your spot for Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at least 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start of the parade for optimal viewing. With that being said, I suggest leaving Epcot by 12:00 p.m. to allow ample time for your travel, going through security, the touch point entry system at Magic Kingdom Park and grabbing a snack at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. When leaving Epcot, board the Epcot Monorail bound for the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer to the Express Monorail bound for Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Jana. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
