Hi, How should I plan to get my family of 5 from our resort, the Yacht Club, to Fort Wilderness to see the Hoop Dee Doo? What have ADR for 8:30 and I need to know what my transportation options are and how long it will take. Thanks so much DMP ! :)

    Hi, Margaret!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm super excited you have a chance to bring the family to the Hoop Dee Doo Music Revue. I'm happy to share a few transportation options for you.

When I need to go from one resort to another, I use a couple of different options with the Walt Disney World Bus Service. There is an option to grab a bus to Disney Springs and transfer to a bus to The Campsites at Fort Wilderness Resort. There's also the option to take a bus to one of the parks and transfer to the resort. I would budget an hour and a half to make sure you get to the resort with ample time.

Since you are staying walking distance from Epcot, if you have park hoppers or plan to spend a part of the day in Epcot, you can walk to the park's bus stop and grab a bus to Fort Wilderness. I would budget at least an hour from the bus stop to make sure you get to the resort with enough time.

You can also use a taxi service from your resort. A Cast Member can help you catch a ride or some car services are available by order through smartphone apps. A taxi to Fort Wilderness from your resort would take 15 minutes but I'd budget 30 minutes just to be sure.

I hope you have a hoop dee doo time enjoying the musical revue. It is such a fun Walt Disney World Resort experience! Let me know if I can help you with any extra questions before your next visit!
