Cheers, Christine!
Sounds like you've got a superstar athlete on hand if they're headed to ESPN to compete! As the mama of twin athletes, I can't tell you how many "spectator" tickets I've bought, so I'm happy to help with your question.
The UCA Cheer Nationals are such a fantastic event. My family and I always try to catch the competition on TV, and you can absolutely purchase single tickets to the competition. You can find your event
here, where you'll be directed to the UCA section of the Varsity website to buy tickets. I checked the website, and it says that commuter tickets are still available, so head over there to purchase tickets for you and your niece. Unfortunately, her Annual Pass does not cover the ESPN complex.
Christine, it sounds like you will be commuting to and from the complex. If you are staying on property at one of
the resorts, know there is no bus transportation to the arena, so you will be responsible for your transportation. There is plenty of parking, and
rideshare car service is readily available. I would also check with UCA to see if they've arranged spectator transportation.
Since you've decided not to visit the Parks during your visit, never fear; you will have plenty of options to keep you occupied at the complex. It is a huge multi-sport facility, so in between cheer competitions, you are guaranteed to find other games to watch. Their
A-Z guide is super helpful for planning before the event. There are also plenty of food options. My fellow panelist,
Susan, highly recommends the food trucks!
Best of luck to your athlete; I'm sure they will
shine bright. I hope you have a magical time enjoying the competition, and feel free to come back and ask any other questions!
