My plan for our Epcot day is to enter through the International Gateway so we can eat breakfast in Canada. We are staying at the Art of Animation resort. What is the the recommended route to get from AoA to that entrance early in the morning?

    chEARs Paula!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to have a fantastic stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! Its lobby is one of my favorite on the property, and every kid (young and old), will find something to enjoy at the Resort! From Little Mermaid to Cars, Nemo to The Lion King, you all will be immersed in fun with your favorite Disney pals. The Resort has 2500 sculpted icons that range from Mufasa to Squirt, and each of the sculptures is scaled to make you feel like you are in the movie that it is portraying. (Isn’t that cool?) Make sure to take a fun picture in front of King Triton in The Little Mermaid section; you will look like guppies compared to him!

I think it’s fantastic that you are taking advantage of the incredible food in the World Showcase. My favorite attraction at Walt Disney World Resort is the food (!), and Epcot is my go-to place for delicious bites. You have a few options to get to the Canada Pavilion in the morning, including complimentary bus transportation from your hotel or the Minnie Van Service!

Disney Bus Transportation from your Resort starts 45 minutes before the earliest Park opening. So, you could take a bus to Disney Springs and then transfer to a bus for Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk through the Resort to the International Gateway. If you use the bus, please allow at least an hour of transit time. Now, you didn't indicate your arrival date, but if you are visiting later this Fall, you might get to take the brand new Disney Skyliner! When it opens, it will transport you from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Epcot's International Gateway via gondola.

If you can't ride the gondola, I would hail a Minnie Van! The polka-dotted beauties are available to transport you anywhere across property with a touch of a button via the Lyft app. The service is from 6:30 am to 12:30 am, and if you are traveling with the littles, up to three complimentary car seats are available. A delightful Cast Member will pick you up at your Resort and take you to breakfast faster than you can sing “O Canada!"

Paula, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I wish you Minnie Magical Memories!
