Ghoulish greetings and welcome back to planDisney, Matthew. We’ve received your sympathetic vibrations and your answer is starting to materialize.
As your ghost host, I’m delighted to hear that the Haunted Mansion (and its happy haunts) is your favorite attraction. While I’m waiting for a message from Madame Leota, I think there might be a better way to investigate this. You can find a list of attractions that are closed for refurbishment on the Disneyland site and on the
Disneyland app. On the website, you can navigate to the
Hours & Events Calendar, select your visit date and scroll down to find the list of attractions closed for refurbishment. The calendar will typically show information for dates up to about 45 days in advance.
It looks like your visit date isn’t quite available yet, and the Haunted Mansion isn’t appearing on this list at the moment. Beware that
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort begins on August 21st and Jack Skellington and his crew will typically shut down and take over the mansion to wreck the halls in time for the spooky season. There is a chance that this attraction will be closed during your visit, but we’ll have to wait and see as we get closer. I recommend continuing to check the calendar for updates. If it is open, you may have made it in time just before Jack and his pals take over.
I am also glad to hear that you will be able to experience Soarin’ Across America, the newest flight path. I’m looking forward to experiencing this during my next visit as well.
Matthew, while Madame Leota’s crystal ball wasn’t very clear, I hope the information I’ve shared with you is helpful. I didn’t mean to frighten you. Please don’t be afraid to come back and visit us with any other questions as you prepare for your visit. I’ll be crossing my fingers that the Grim Grinning Ghosts will still be out to socialize.
