Hi Jennifer! Uncle Scrooge McDuck always appreciates it when Guests want to save their pennies! While not the most exciting part of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, budgeting is an important part of the planning process.
The Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t have a way for Guests to pay toward a vacation that hasn’t been booked, however, there is a way to pay toward your vacation after you book it! Here is what I recommend...Start by checking the Walt Disney World Resort website for some of the great
money-saving deals that are currently being offered. Find some travel dates that fit within those special deals. Then, book your vacation! The down payment for booking a vacation is $200.
Now, once you’ve booked your vacation and made your $200 deposit, you can pay money toward the vacation using your MyDisney Experience account. You can pay any amount as frequently as you like. Simply log in to your MyDisney Experience account and click “My Plans.” You should see your reservation number followed by a blue “Make a Payment” link. You can click the link and proceed with making your payment. When making a payment, be sure to access your account through a laptop or computer. Payments can’t be made through the MyDisney Experience app.
Jennifer, here is a PRO TIP for you! You can use
Disney Gift Cards to pay toward your vacation! Let people know your family is saving for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You might get a few gift cards that you can then apply to your vacation!
Dreams do come true!
