I want to plan a Disney vacation for my sons 15th birthday but it's in 3 years is there a way I could book it and pay it in payments if so how can I do that.

    Hiya Maria!

Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are planning far ahead for your son's 15th birthday. He sure has a wonderful mom! Birthdays are so much to celebrate when hanging out with Mickey Mouse and his friends. Even teenagers find thrills and fun in the Parks. Who knows what new attractions will be in place by then? Make sure that while you wait visit the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

Planning far ahead is always the smartest plan when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. However, at this time, guests can only book hotel reservations with the latest arrival being October 31, 2025, and for stays extending into November 30, 2025. It means that you could arrive on October 31, 2025, and stay till November 30, 2025. Theme Park Tickets are working out the same way but when staying for more than 14 days they have to be purchased separately and not as part of a package.

The chance to make reservations for 2027 will probably not become available until 2026. Until then you can begin saving as you normally like to save for other things. Consider a dedicated bank account or even a jar under the bed. Just do whatever you feel work works best for you and is least tempting to raid. A good tip I practice myself is to purchase Disney Gift Cards to save up for my trip. They can be purchased in increments of $25 to $500 from the online Disney store. You can use the gift cards towards the payment of your trip or throughout the Parks. Make sure to keep them in a safe place!  Just an FYI, when paying online for a package usually only one form of payment is allowed at a time so if you wish to pay with a few gift cards I suggest calling and speaking with a Cast Member.

If you choose to purchase a Walt Disney World Resort Package with hotel and tickets you only need to place a $200 deposit (prices are subject to change) and pay over time. It's not a payment plan exactly but there is flexibility to pay as you go until final payment is needed. The total price must be paid in full 30 days before your check-in date. Head to your My Disney Experience plans page to make payments and set up your trip when it's time.

I hope this was helpful and you have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!
