We plan on going to disney December 2025 When would we be able to book? Do we have to get two rooms since we will have 3 adults, 3 kids that will be 4,7,9 and a baby that will be 2.

    Welcome to planDisney, Ali!

Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

Like you, I feel it's never too soon to plan a magical vacation! After all, Walt Disney World Resort is home to four amazing theme parks, delectable dining locations, and enchanting Disney Resort hotels! There are so many decisions to be made; it's all so much fun to plan. I like to say planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is so much fun; it comes second only to being on said vacation!

Ali, at this time, reservations are available until the end of 2024. Although we have not been told when dates will be released for 2025, historically, the following year's reservation dates are released in the spring. I would continue checking back around then!

When you're ready to book, I recommend looking into a Vacation Package, which comes with a Disney Resort hotel stay and tickets. After paying a deposit towards your package, you can pay off the remainder of the balance on your own time until the final payment is due, typically 30 days before your check-in date. Dates are subject to change, so please make sure to check during your booking.

If you like, you are welcome to book two rooms that could connect at your Disney Resort hotel, or you can check out the Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. They have one queen bed and two queen-size pull-down beds and can sleep up to six adults. This option is the most cost-effective. Another great option is checking out the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! This is a darling Resort hotel that kiddos tend to love. Suites are also available in the Deluxe Resort hotels

Your kiddos will have so much fun at Walt Disney World Resort! And since your smallest Mouseketeer will be only two, I'm happy to tell you that children under three are considered Guests of Mickey Mouse and don't need theme park tickets! Yay!

Wishing you and your family an enchanting visit, Ali!
