I want to plan a disney cruise for my daughter's birthday in June of next year. There will be a large group and I am interested in everyone booking separately, but able to pay over time.

Ahoy there, Shannan! Thanks for sailing by planDisney. Your daughter is so lucky to have you planning a Disney cruise to celebrate her birthday! I need to get on the phone with my mama right now!

Once you decide which cruise to sail, have everyone book online or by calling Disney Cruise Line. As soon as everyone has paid their deposits, paying in installments is super easy. You can pay online through your Disney Cruise Line account, navigate to "Already Booked," and then pick the "Make a Payment" option in the drop-down menu. If you don't want to pay online, call DCL directly.

You can make as many payments as you want as long as your final balance is zero before your due date. The final date for payment depends on the length of your cruise. For sailings that are 5 days or less, your balance is due 90 days before you sail. For sailings greater than 6 days, the balance is due 120 days before you set sail.

Since you are celebrating, I'm sure you will want to book fun activities (specialty restaurants, spa treatments, etc) onboard. But! You can't book Onboard Activities or Port Adventures until your balance is paid in full.

Shannan, you know where to find us if you have more questions. In the meantime, I wish you smooth sailing with planning!
