Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Paula!
My family and I had the opportunity to enjoy
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White this summer, and it was such an unforgettable experience. I love all of the Disney
Characters I get to meet at
Walt Disney World Resort, but meeting the Evil Queen was one of my favorite Character interactions ever! In addition to meeting her, Snow White, Grumpy and Dopey, the ambiance of Artist Point is amazing, and the presentation of the food (as well as the tastiness) was top notch.
Getting from
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Artist Point is super easy. As you leave the Theme Park, look for the
Walt Disney World Resort hotel buses to your right. You’ll see a board listing which buses are at which stops, and you’ll want to find the one for
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The buses arrive every 20 minutes, and after you catch one it’ll take about 15-20 minutes for you to arrive at your destination. Follow the sidewalk from the Wilderness Lodge bus stop into the lobby and you’ll see the check-in podium for Artist Point straight ahead and a little to your right.
To make sure you aren’t rushed in making it to your dining reservation on time, I would recommend giving yourself an hour between the time you leave Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and your reservation. If you arrive early, take some time to wander through Disney’s Wilderness Lodge’s lobby and read the plaques on the floor in front of each of the totem poles, sit in one of the oversized rocking chairs in front of the fireplace, or shop around in the
Wilderness Lodge Mercantile.
Have a Magical dinner, Paula! We hope to see you real soon.
