If we plan to come in Dec will weather be nice to enjoy pools at the hotel? are they heated pools? Or would coming in March be better? We want to travel when less busy and yet still nice weather. we have a son with lung issues and don't want it to be to.

Hi Jessica! I'm not sure I'm the best mom to be answering this questions, being from Canada and used to the cold temperatures! Although I do seem to complain more than many of my fellow moms when it's chilly out. We have enjoyed Disney World in both December and March, and have used the pools during both months. The average temperatures in December are between 52 and 73 degrees, and between 55 and79 degrees in March. As you would expect, it's definitely cooler when the sun goes down, so a mid-day swim might be your best option. Disney pools are all heated, so the water will be warm, but have towels ready for you when you get out! My niece, daughter and I visited Blizzard Beach water park in March, and it was awesome! The water was warm and the lineups were short.

Hope this helps with your planning Jessica! Write us back with any other questions as you continue to plan your vacation!
