I want to plan a date night with my husband while we are at Disney World and I've heard that there is childcare available, but how does that work? Do they come to the room or is there a day care?

How exciting that you are going to have a date night while at Disney World! There is so much to do, both for couples and families, that Disney makes a great place for a romantic night out.

Disney does offer both in-room childcare, through Kid's Nite Out, and kid clubs at some of the resorts.

Kids' Nite Out is a babysitting service that Disney recommends. You can call 1-800-696-8105 to make a reservation for their services. They can come in your room and provide one-on-one childcare for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. You can make a reservation up to two months and at least 24 hours in advance.

There are also Children's Activity Centers at the following resorts:

    Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    Swan & Dolphin Resort
    Animal Kingdom Lodge
    Polynesian Resort
    Yacht and Beach Club Resort
    Wilderness Lodge

The rates, hours and options vary at each childcare center, but each of them provide childcare for children and feature entertainment, such as movies, video games, dolls, coloring, crafts and more. Kids love the clubs and reviews are very positive. You can make advance reservations by calling the childcare club directly.

I hope you have a magical date night!
