Hi Moms! I plan to carry a backpack while at the parks and I was wondering if you can take them on rides? I don't want to rent storage. If you must store belongings then I'll think of something else. Thanks!

    Hi there Brooke!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I am happy to report that Guests are allowed to take backpacks onto the attractions. In fact, my husband always brings a standard size backpack into the parks and also carries the backpack onto all of the attractions. He either places the bag in the designated storage compartment (where available) or on the floor of the ride vehicle. On thrill attractions, he makes sure to secure the bag by placing one strap around his leg or by putting his leg on top of the backpack. Follow this link to learn more about the size of backpacks that are permitted in the theme parks.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Brooke!

    Happy Travels,
