I am wishing you a similar experience on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World, so let me help you get your booking squared away.
Whenever a guest asks how to book multiple rooms, I always recommend speaking to a friendly Cast Member in Hotel Reservations
over the phone. Since guests can only book one room at a time via the Build Your Vacation tool on the Disney World website, I think it's easier to let the experts handle reservations for multiple rooms. While availability is subject to change, I do see that there are studios available at the Polynesian on the arrival date you provided when you submitted your question. You will be able to have these rooms under your account once you've spoken with a Cast Member, and they will provide you with a reservation confirmation number.
For the ticketing part of your question, the answer is yes, you may control the tickets using your account on the
My Disney Experience app. I created managed profiles for my kids under my account in the app and can assign tickets to them. It's pretty handy when we enter the park, as I find it's easier for me to swipe through their tickets on my device rather than have them use a
MagicBand+ or Key to the World card. You can
create managed profiles for the guests in your travel party, and this will allow you to assign tickets, book Lightning Lanes, and set up dining reservations for everyone.
If the people in your travel party have their own My Disney accounts, you may find it easier to connect with them via the
Family & Friends list, then assign tickets so they will have access in the event they need to leave the park and reenter at a later time. This would also be useful if some members of the group wish to hop to another park at some point. Speak with your travel party to determine how they want to set up tickets and what level of control and access they will need throughout the vacation.
