How to plan for my almost 3year old trip to Disney in a week we've never been. Do u have tips on what I should do to make it less overwhelming? Were also staying at animal kingdom resort and have a the parkspass

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jaycee! Your Autumn visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just days away! I’m so excited for you and your Mouseketeer! Thanks for sending us your question.

Something I always take comfort in, is knowing that we’re all on the same boat. I’ve visited Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with babies, toddlers and now “big girls,” so I want you to know that you are going to have a wonderful visit! Remember that you don’t have to do everything in one morning, you can always pace yourself.

Your theme park ticket will allow you same-day re-entry to the theme park, so you can always take a break midday to make sure your little one has a nap. My girls always seem to enjoy the firework shows at night if they’ve had a decent nap.

Jaycee, Baby Care Centers are a great place to take a little break when you’re at the theme parks. The best part is, you can find one at all four theme parks. You can feed, change and use the restroom at these centers. They are always air-conditioned and for a while, were the only places I’d feel super comfortable letting my girls use the bathroom when they were potty training, because they are always so clean.

Make sure to take a look at attractions that your Mouseketeer can enjoy before your visit. You can always filter your results by height. My girls really love the Tomorrowland Speedway and The Barnstormer at the Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope I’ve been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
