Are there places to store a backpack before riding a coaster?

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

While a few attractions have locker systems nearby, like Kali River Rapids and the new TRON Lightcycle / Run, presented by Enterprise, most do not. Most ride cars will have a place to put valuables at your ride seat, but often a backpack can be more than would easily fit into that space. But I have a solution you can use in each park that should solve your request!

There are lockers in each of the Disney theme parks. They are one of the most overlooked conveniences available that really can help you enjoy a day out. It is great not having to lug some things around all day long.

The lockers in each park can be found just after passing through the turnstiles, and there are a few locker sizes available. Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park have lockers that are as large as 15.5" x 13" x 17" (39.37 cm x 33.02 cm x 43.18 cm). The Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT even have a few jumbo-sized lockers available that are up to 17" x 22" x 26" (43 cm x 55 cm x 66 cm).

    BONUS TIP #1
By the way, the lockers are keyless, so you don't have to mess around with that, either!

    BONUS TIP #2
Disney's Water Parks also have lockers available, and their largest size is the same as at the Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

    BONUS TIP #3
The lockers can be used throughout the day for that one-time charge. You can go back to the locker to retrieve something, and then use it again on the same day without having to pay again.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
