Are there as some places outdoors and yet not in the AK park where pictures of the savannas/animals can be taken 1-2 hours before sunset? This is my first trip to WWD and I'm trying to make my wish come true.

Hi Diana! Although you can't see the animals at the Animal Kingdom from outside of the park, the Animal Kingdom Lodge has savannas from which you can view zebras, giraffes, Ankole cattle, and other animals. You are welcome to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort and photograph the animals on the savannas from the public viewing area. (When you enter the lobby, just head straight through to reach the main savanna directly behind the lobby.) The resort has several great restaurants and a lounge, so you can stay for dinner and sample some delicious African-inspired cuisine if you want. You might particularly enjoy dining at Sanaa, where you can watch the animals grazing on the savanna while you eat your meal.

I hope your first trip to Walt Disney World is magical! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
