There are SO MANY places I want to eat that I REALLY want the Deluxe Dining Plan. We have 3 young kids- is this WAY too much food and too much time in restaurants, or is it as great as I'm envisioning? Thanks for feeding my obsession! Freaking out!

    Hello Andrea from Indiana!

You have hit on a very real problem! I have young kids too, and this is an issue for us. If it were up to me, we would eat at a table service restaurant for every meal. That is not because I am a glutton (though I have not been accused of being slender either!), but because the restaurants are so fun and yummy!

The truth is, however, that 3 table service meals a day are too much, in more ways than one.

For my kids, who are 4 and 6, it is just too much food. They just can't take in that much. It is also "too much" in terms of time. Every meal cuts 1 to 2 hours into your park time. Think what a kid mutiny that might create! So dependent upon your kids ages and appetites, I would recommend only 1 table service meal per day, maybe 2.

I would really welcome any follow-up questions you might have. Just go to my bio page to ask, and we can chat more about your dining and other questions!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
