Emily,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Yes, there is outside seating at
Casey's Corner, and yes, it can be hard to get a table at specific meal times. On the Walt Disney World interactive map, you will see red and white umbrellas that show where the seating is located, just outside the restaurant.
Because Casey's is located right there at the center of the park, in the hub of all the activity, the tables are often commandeered by folks just trying to get off their feet for a few minutes. Disney does try to move things along, and it is not a guarantee that you won't get a table, but there are a few strategies that might help.
STANDING ROOMThere are some standing tables around the corner. For many this is a great option that is also outdoors. It may not be what you wanted, but it could be a good alternative.
INSIDE SEATINGThere is some inside seating. Those tables can be pretty busy too, but a seat inside is better than no seat at all.
TAKE A STROLLIf you are willing to walk just a bit, there are some other seating areas nearby. The best one I can think of is to walk with your order over towards Tomorrowland. The
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is only open seasonally, and has a lot of outdoor, covered seating. If you go there, you should be able to get a seat with some shade.
BONUS TIPMake sure you have the
My Disney Experience App loaded on your smart phone before you arrive. I love ordering lunch without waiting in line using the
Mobile Online Ordering service.
Write me back if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
