Is there a place to stow our carry-ons when we first board the ship? We would like to be able to roam the ship and use the pool.

    Welcome aboard, Barbara!

When your family firsts sets foot onto the ship for your magical Disney Cruise Line voyage, a Cast Member will announce your family's name and rows of Cast Members will applaud your arrival as you walk into the atrium lobby! It's the best way to start your vacation! You'll feel like royalty from that moment on, as Disney really treats their guests like kings and queens, princesses and princes!

There is not a place to leave carry-on luggage unattended when you board, so be sure you check all of the luggage that you won't need, and only carry a small bag with items you'll need before later that afternoon. We sometimes do have a small rolling suitcase with us when we board, and it's never been a problem to keep it with us as we go have lunch, just setting it next to our table. My kids love to change right into their swim suits and hit the pools after lunch, or even before! We just keep our bags with us right next to our seats. Before you know it, the staterooms will be ready and you'll be able to drop off your bags there and head out for more exploring!

Have fun as you continue planning your cruise, Barbara!
