Is there a place to sit and relax while the other members of my group go horseback riding at tri-circle d ranch?

Hello there, Cindy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground provides Guests with a slice of the great outdoors while being just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom! This resort includes 750 acres of forest that are home to many types of wildlife including deer, armadillos, ducks, and rabbits. There is so much to see and do when visiting this charming woodland Disney Resort!

There is no shortage of recreation at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! One of the biggest draws, though, is the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. This area is home to Cinderella's Ponies in addition to many varieties of horse breeds that animal lovers are sure to enjoy! However, if you're looking for a bit of leisure time during your visit, I would suggest moseying on over to the Pioneer Hall. Here you can find many different amenities including Crockett's Tavern which offers a selection of tasty eats and drinks. Once you've rustled up some grub, you can make your way over to one of the many rocking chairs positioned around the porch of Pioneer Hall. These are great for relaxing and gazing out of the water of Bay Lake!

I hope you enjoy your time visiting and relaxing at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! Be sure to let us know if we can assist you in planning any other portions of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
