Hiya, Kathie! Welcome back to planDisney. You’re speaking my love language... brunch at Walt Disney World! Since you’re well within
your 60-day booking window, I'll give you lots of delicious choices. A quick note before we dive in: most brunches wrap up around 2 PM unless noted, and some are offered daily while others are weekend-only. And honestly… brunch is one of my very favorite meals because you don’t have to rush out the door early, and it magically covers both breakfast and lunch.
Many
Disney Resort hotels offer wonderful late brunch options, and the best part is that you don’t need a park ticket to enjoy them. Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the Grand Floridian Café serves brunch daily and is known for its Buttermilk-Fried Chicken and Waffle with an amazing Sriracha honey drizzle. Trattoria al Forno on Disney’s BoardWalk also offers a great daily breakfast until 11:30 AM—try the Al Forno Eggs. Whispering Canyon Café at Wilderness Lodge is another solid choice with hearty breakfast skillets served all morning. Ale & Compass at the Yacht Club serves breakfast until 11 AM and has favorites like the Crabcake Benedict and Dark Chocolate Waffle, while Kona Café at the Polynesian offers classics like Tonga Toast and Loco Moco until 11 AM. If you love Southern comfort food, Olivia’s Café at Old Key West is a lovely brunch spot with its famous Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken.
If you’d like to brunch inside the theme parks, one of my favorite “DIY brunch” tricks is to book a late breakfast at a restaurant that transitions into lunch. My top pick for this is
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. It has such a fun atmosphere, and you can enjoy Mickey Churro Waffles while visiting with Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
Now, if you’re staying at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you’re in the perfect spot because
Disney Springs has some of the best brunch options on property and it’s just a short walk or boat ride away. Raglan Road’s Rollicking Raglan Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays goes until 3 PM and features live Irish music and dancing. Homecomin’ offers the Rise ’n Shine Brunch on weekends until 1 PM, and their Chicken & Doughnuts is just incredible. House of Blues serves The Bayou Brunch on weekends, complete with bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Marys if you want to add a little sparkle to your morning. The BOATHOUSE has The Captain’s Sing-Along Brunch with dueling pianos and dishes like Jumbo Lump Crabcakes Benedict on Saturdays and Sundays. Summer House on the Lake has a weekend brunch too, and their giant cinnamon roll is honestly the size of your head. And Wine Bar George offers a weekend brunch with favorites like their delicious Burrata with bacon and warm ciabatta bread.
I hope this gives you lots of food for thought, Kathie! No matter what you choose, I know you’ll have a delicious start to your Disney day.
See ya real soon,
Eean
