Hello, Erin, and thank you for coming to the Panel with another question!
I'm allergic to some tree nuts, so I have to be careful when ordering from any restaurant. I'm happy to let you know that most quick-service and table-service locations at
Walt Disney World Resort can accommodate common food allergies and intolerances such as eggs, fish, gluten, milk, peanuts, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.
Did you know that Walt Disney World Resort is committed to offering a wide range of culinary options for Guests with
special dietary requests? If you have not read about
dietary requests on disneyworld.com, I would suggest doing so before your vacation.
Disney uses "reasonable efforts in food sourcing, preparation and handling procedures to avoid the introduction of the named allergens into your menu choices. While we take steps to prevent cross-contact, we do not have separate allergy-friendly kitchens and are unable to guarantee that a menu item is completely free of allergens." Also, "most Disney table-service and major quick-service restaurant locations offer allergy-friendly menus or allergy guides to address common allergies and intolerances."
For other questions related to food allergies, you can contact the Special Diets team at
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Their team will be able to assist you in navigating the dining process, including where to get that perfect cinnamon roll for your daughter.
Please visit planDisney again if we can help you with any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical day!
Bob
