Hi, Loren! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for bringing this great question to us. I know of several friends who have utilized taxis or rideshare services to get to the parks from area hotels and have needed to bring along car seats or booster seats for their little ones. They're definitely not something you want to drag around the parks while you go Soarin'!
I have a great solution for you, but I want you to measure your car seat before you leave to make sure it will fit. You will find
lockers of various sizes, subject to availability, just inside each theme park that are usually the perfect size for storing bulky items. The ones at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom park come in two sizes; however, note that there are only small ones at Magic Kingdom Park. Each size locker requires a $5 key deposit that will be refunded to you when you return the key at the end of the day. The sizes and rental price are as follows:
Small locker: 11" x 9" x 16" and are currently $7 per day.
Large locker: 17.5" x 12" x 16" and are currently $9 per day.
In addition to these lockers, you can find single-use, coin-operated lockers located near the bus information booths at Epcot and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Only quarters are accepted, and payment is required for each use. At the Epcot location, single-use lockers are 23” x 16” x 29” and the cost is $1 per use. At the Disney’s Hollywood Studios location, single-use lockers are 4” x 5.5” x 6” and the cost is $.50 per use.
I hope this information helps you make a plan for your magical day at Walt Disney World Resort. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
