Pizzafari Family-Style Dining is still alive and well at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! The reason you may not see the dates you want is that My Disney Experience lets you book Advance Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your trip, and currently it shows that you are able to make a reservation through August 8, 2019. I'd keep checking the website as you get closer to your trip.
Pizzafari is located on Discovery Island, and I've always appreciated its unique and colorful vibe. The Family-Style Dining experience has become very popular, primarily because of the variety of offerings that come with the meal including pizza. The Caprese Salad, drizzled with balsamic vinegar is a fresh and delicious choice, usually found at upscale restaurants. And the Baked Ziti Pasta is a hearty dish, which will undoubtedly fuel you up before riding Flight of Passage! Dessert is crispy Miniature Cannolis filled with sweet mascarpone cheese. I'd also suggest washing it all down with a Mandarin Orange Lemonade (with or without Vodka) which has a sweet and sour kick, perfect for a hot Walt Disney World day.
