Hi Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As a mom of two littles myself, I completely understand the desire for a date night on vacation, especially in Walt Disney World, where there are so many fun and fabulous fine dining locations for you and your spouse to enjoy.
While the Pixar Play Zone is no longer in operation, there are plenty of childcare options at the Walt Disney World Resort. Young privateers will be able to sail the high seas aboard a
Pirate Adventure Cruise. This two-hour-long no-parents-allowed cruise will take young buccaneers to search for hidden treasure and departs from various Walt Disney World resort locations, allowing parents to relax and unwind and enjoy dining and shopping nearby. For parents looking for a longer date night, Captain Hook is looking for some new recruits at
Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This kids-only event takes place nightly from 5:30 to 8:00, and while kids will not leave the land, they will embark on exciting adventures of their own as they learn how to walk and talk like a pirate and enjoy a feast fit for the captain himself. To attend both events, children must be between the ages of 4 through 12 and potty trained.
Jennifer, if you would be interested in childcare in the comfort of your own resort, Walt Disney World has partnered with independent childcare provider
Kid’s Nite Out. With this service, a background-checked and experienced babysitter, fully certified in CPR and first aid, will come to your room and entertain your little ones with age-appropriate activities while you enjoy a night out.
I hope this helps you plan for your upcoming vacation, Jennifer, and I am sure you will have the most magical date night. Please stop back by if we can help with any additional suggestions!
