Ahoy, Louise and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm thrilled to hEAR you are looking forward to another magical voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line. You've chosen a "Very Merrytime" to be onboard the Disney Fantasy with it being the week of Christmas!
Louise, your vacation will be packed with pixie dust! Not only will you get to experience all the regular Caribbean cruise activities including
Pirate Night (don't forget your pirate garb!), you'll also get to experience all the holiday-themed fun that come only during the most magical time of the year. You'll definitely be in the spirit of the season as soon as you enter the beautifully decorated cruise terminal at Port Canaveral and once you get your first glimpse of the stunning Grand Lobby Atrium. Both the life-sized gingerbread house and the dazzling 24-foot tall Christmas tree will be the backdrop to many of your vacation photos. And the festive decor doesn't stop on the ship, Castaway Cay also has been sprinkled with nautical-themed holiday decorations.
There will be unique photo opportunities with the Characters in their adorable holiday attire, and an opportunity to see Santa Claus when he drops by before he heads out to deliver presents on Christmas Eve. One event you'll need to sign-up for at the Port Adventure Desk is Gingerbread House Making. One of the Disney chefs will lead you through the construction of your jolly masterpiece with some delicious edible ingredients. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will offer some added delights including a special holiday feast, cookies and caroling! Religious services are also available for those who wish to attend.
You are sure to have a swashbuckling good time on Pirate Night and at all the holiday festivities on this sailing, Louise!
Thank you again for cruising by!
Nancy
