    Are all pirate treasure trips the same? DS 11 and 8 went on the Grand Floridian, but want to go again with other DS 5 (too young last time). Planning on staying at PO-R and was going to book the one there. Will it be differnt-if so, how? Want to prepare

    Ahoy Matey!  How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World again in June! The pirate adventures that Disney offers are great for swashbuckling fun! The Bayou Pirate Adventure at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort is a very similar experience to the Pirate Adventure at the Grand Floridian Resort in that Little Landlubbers look for buried treasure, munch on similar pirate grub, and their adventure will last 2 hours. They will go on different voyages in that the Bayou Pirate Adventure sails to the Downtown Disney area; whereas, the Pirate Adventure sails around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Little Pirates will receive eye patches and bandanas.The Bayou Pirate Adventure is offered 3 days a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and is from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost for the Bayou Pirate Adventure is currently $34 plus tax for each child. Shiver me timbers! That 's a great deal for 2 hours of swashbuckling fun on the high seas!  Ask about a possible discount if you are a Disney Vacation Club member. This adventure is offered for children ages 4-12. You can book your adventure by calling Disney Recreation at (407)939-7529 as they are already booking through June 30, 2012  If you by chance see Jack Sparrow at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction inside the Magic Kingdom, give him an "Argh!" for me! I hope you and your 3 Buccaneers have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
