Argh, Katie, and welcome to planDisney where we love searching for buried treasure. And by treasure, I mean answers to guest questions like yours! Since X marks the spot, let's dig in and uncover how you can squeeze every ounce of magic from your Disney Pirate Pass.
First, let's double-check your expiration date by opening your
My Disney Experience mobile app and tapping the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the Welcome screen. Scroll until you find your annual pass; the expiration date should be under the ticket number.
If your pass lists 5/22/2026 as the expiration date, I have some good news! That's the last day you can use it, so you're free to enter a theme park on May 22. Be sure to
make a theme park reservation if you plan to enter a park before 2:00 PM.
Since this is a busy holiday weekend, I checked the
theme park reservation calendar and saw that there's limited availability for May 22. As of now, Disney's Hollywood Studios isn't allowing more passholder reservations, but you can still try to head there after 2:00 PM. Keep in mind that theme parks could reach capacity since it's Memorial Weekend, but I'm waving my magic wand that you can enjoy some magic!
As you probably know, you have
up to 30 days after your pass expiration date to take advantage of the renewal discount. The discount amount can vary and is subject to availability, but it always feels like a sprinkle of pixie dust when it's applied. And you can't have too much pixie dust in your life, right? Feel free to reach out to the
Annual Passholders line if you have any questions or need help with the renewal process.
I'm also an annual passholder, and I'm hoping to experience
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets this week during the passholder preview. Passholders can try to join a virtual queue, even if they don't have a reservation to Hollywood Studios. You can check out the
times and policies here to see which virtual queue you'll qualify for on May 22. Maybe I'll see you at the concert!
Katie, I hope you're able to get every last magical moment from your Pirate Pass. Please stop by
planDisney again if you have additional questions; we'll never make you walk the plank!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
