Hey there, Valerie! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question.
I love to see that the magic of Walt Disney World is calling and you want to become an
Annual Passholder! Knowing that you can head to the magic time and time again seems to bring joy and magic to everyday life. Of course, as a Florida resident, you get even more magical
options (I am 98 percent happy for you and 2 percent jealous), so let's chat about them!
While the discounted Pirate Pass, exclusively for Florida residents, is subject to
blockout dates, they are mostly during peak and holiday seasons, such as spring break, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think you'll be happy to hear that most weekends are included with the Pirate Pass!
If you are referring to the deeply discounted Pixie Dust Pass for Florida residents (what a deal!), you will get admission to the Walt Disney World parks on weekdays only with
blockout dates applying. But the great news?! There are no blockout dates for the
Water Park and Sports Option! Woohoo! So, if you add that option, you can save big with a discounted Annual Pass, and when you're blocked out of the parks, you can splash in the water parks, play golf or mini golf, and more!
Valerie, be sure to always keep an eye on the
Passholder page on the Walt Disney World website for the latest and greatest in Passholder discounts, perks and offerings. My favorites are the discounts on the Resort Hotel rooms and the Passholder-exclusive merchandise, especially the adorable complimentary magnets. The magic is calling, Valerie. Answer the call!
I hope this helps, Valerie, and I'm wishing you a year of magical memories! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
Life is the bubbles,
Mandy
