Welcome to planDisney, Shailey! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. As a Florida Resident, you have special access to some pretty great
deals, offers, and even some exclusive types of Annual Passes only available to neighbors of Mickey Mouse. I'm happy to chat with you about what you're able to purchase for yourself and who is able to use an
Annual Pass that you buy!
Shailey, Annual Passes must be assigned to one specific guest in My Disney Experience, and they are non-transferable. You're welcome to purchase an Annual Pass for yourself, and you can even gift an Annual Pass to another
Florida Resident with proof of residency if you're feeling generous, but you cannot buy an Annual Pass to be shared among many people in your Family and Friends list. All tickets and Annual Passes will be assigned to one person and then tied to their fingerprint for verification when they enter a Theme Park for the first time. This fingerprint verification helps ensure that only the assigned Passholder can use their Annual Pass, so it can’t be swapped between different people.
Once an Annual Pass is activated, it’s valid for one year from that date, so it’s a great way to enjoy Disney magic all year long! If you’re considering an Annual Pass for yourself, be sure to
explore all the perks, like exclusive discounts on dining and merchandise, complimentary standard theme park parking, and access to special Passholder events and previews.
Have a magical day, Shailey!
