Well, ahoy there, Destiny! Thanks for sailing through to planDisney.
What a Dream – celebrating the holidays with a
Very Merrytime Cruise aboard the
Disney Dream! I can share from recent experience that it is a magical, festive time at sea!
Deck parties are always fun and I'm happy to share a little more insight into what guests may experience during a Very Merrytime Cruise in December.
Each Disney Cruise Line sailing has entertainment and some 3-night or more excursions have a
Pirate Night deck party! It's a little early to confirm the actual itinerary as entertainment is subject to change, but in my experience, yes there is a Pirate Night for one of the evenings on a 3-night Very Merrytime Bahamian Cruise. Guests are welcome to dress up like Pirates and participate in trivia, enjoy the pirate-themed dinner, and on select nights (weather permitting) there are some swashbuckling' fireworks! I recommend downloading the
Navigator app and linking your reservations with your
MyDisney account. As the time draws closer you'll be able to see daily itineraries and be notified when it's time to sign up for activities requiring a reservation.
While aboard the ship, there are many activities for every age, along with adventures at each port. The Very Merrytime cruise is decked out in beautiful holiday décor. While I didn't sail with my family, there were many families on board and the list of
holiday-themed activities was long! One of my favorite activities included the Tree Lighting Ceremony and it was always fun to see our favorite characters dressed in their holiday best. Well, Destiny, I hope this helps as you prepare for your adventure sailing on the Disney Dream. If you have any other questions, feel free to
reach back out!
Bon Voyage,
Camille
