For pirate night at sea I was hoping to wear my Redd costume. Is that allowed for adults? Or do the costumes have to not be Disney pirate characters?

    Ahoy there, Rose!

Shiver me timbers, your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just on the horizon! You must be getting so excited, and it sounds like you are getting your packing list started.

Pirate Night is one of my favorite events aboard a Disney Cruise! The swashbuckling Pirate Night deck party is even better when Guests get into the pirate life spirit by dressing in costume. You will be happy to know that you may dress as your favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests. Please leave any props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements at home. With these costume guidelines in mind, go ahead and make room in your suitcase for that Redd costume!

Rose, be sure to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you board the ship to confirm which evening Pirate Night will be held on your cruise since the schedule and offerings are subject to change.

Your cruise is sure to be full of treasurable memories, Rose. If you have any other questions or need some tips on how to make the most of your vacation, please sail back by and let us know.

    Wishing you smooth sailing,
    Shannon
